As the long time chairman of my own industry specific CEO mentoring group, I was fascinated to see such a different model for bringing together leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds.  I spoke to one of the earliest Footdown Fifteen meetings but was immediately struck by the tremendous energy and purpose of the group and by the commitment they all shared with Andrew Mercer to being the best that they could be.

Throughout his career Dr. Gerry Faust has followed an eclectic path and his many roles have included: professor, researcher, scientist, entrepreneur, business leader and consultant, as well as highly entertaining and informative speaker.  But it has been his role as university professor and research scientist - in the field of human learning, problem solving/decision making and technology based training - that has most informed his work.

Gerry is the founder of Faust Management Corporation, a California based management consulting firm that specializes in providing methods, approaches, tools and systems that help create the insights and environments that allow businesses, their leaders and managers to succeed. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of BioniCare Medical Technologies, a fast-growing medical technology company that offers the first and only no-drug, non-invasive, FDA cleared treatment for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Gerry has held professorships at the University of Illinois, University of Texas and Brigham Young University and today is on the faculty of the Executive Program at UCLA 's Graduate School of Management.

He has also been President of the Adizes Institute, an international management consulting firm, and a Founding Faculty member and the former CEO of MentorU.com and a Partner of the Club Performance Network.
