Sam Elly Consultant
Sam is a Consultant at Footdown Ltd. and is an experienced learning and development professional and qualified coach. He has over ten years’ experience in designing and delivering leadership and management development solutions.
Prior to joining Footdown, Sam spent eight years with Deloitte. He worked initially in the Financial Regulation Consultancy and managed a number of client facing and internal teams, varying in size from 2 people to over 20. The most significant project he was responsible for was a £1million per year co-sourcing engagement with a large UK bank.
Having developed a keen interest in people development, Sam moved into the design and delivery of internal training courses with an 18-month secondment to the Deloitte learning department. He became an advanced Deloitte facilitator and ran a range of courses on subjects such as management, coaching, appraisals, delegation, motivation and time management. He was also qualified to train and sign off new Deloitte facilitators.
Since joining Footdown in August 2010, Sam has delivered training courses, personal profiling sessions, team workshops and 1:1 coaching to several public and private sector clients, including Thames Water, Tideway, Deutsche Bank, Mission Foods, Surrey Police, Badminton England, Deloitte and ARUP. He is an ILM qualified coach and accredited to use the Insights Discovery personal profiling tool and Footdown's F1.1 diagnostic.
His key achievements have included setting up and running Footdown’s ILM accredited coaching school and designing formal leadership development programmes for its key clients.
