Mike Roe, CEO Footdown

 Mike Roe CEO

Mike is the Chief Executive of Footdown Ltd and Leader of the Bath Fifteen. Mike’s background is as a police officer in the Avon & Somerset Constabulary. In a career of over 25 years dominated by CID work, he considers the seven years as Commander in Bristol as the most profound. Not only was he responsible for amalgamating three commands into one, but his time was marked by an influx of crack cocaine and the associated serious crime.
Passionate about teamwork and leadership, Mike joined originally as a member of the Bath Fifteen in 2004 and has been active in encouraging other senior police officers to join Footdown Groups.
In 2007, he was awarded a level 7 Diploma in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching, through Walking with Leaders Ltd and is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Mike’s passion is to help inspire leaders to be the best they can be and he is the principal deliverer of Footdown’s “High Performance Workplace” programme.
Mike has led the Bath Footdown Fifteen group since 2007, which has involved facilitating monthly group mentoring meetings and one-to-one personal coaching sessions with senior executive leaders and entrepreneurs. Over the years, Mike has also been delivering team effectiveness and development workshops.
