Grant Leboff on Why Everything In Marketing Has Changed And What To Do About It.
The World Wide Web and the ubiquity of digital technology has changed the way we live, work and communicate with one another. This has had a profound effect on how companies have to market themselves in order to be successful in today’s business environment. In this session members will be shown:
- Why the traditional marketing model used to work
- Why traditional marketing is now failing businesses
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: members will be introduced to the new model of marketing that will transform their business development. Too many companies are trying to utilise new channels such as Websites, Blogs, YouTube, FaceBook, LinkedIn and Twitter etc and not getting the results that they desire. This session will present a strategic framework that a business can use STRAIGHT AWAY in order to ensure that these channels start to become effective. We are at the dawn of a new era. Businesses can no longer afford to ignore the technology and channels that are being widely adopted and will be used by their customer base now and in the future. This session will present a coherent and comprehensive overview of where we have come from and where we are going. I will empower businesses to start to embrace this new world and get ahead of the competition.
This workshop equips members with tools and techniques that will enable them to:
- Understand the shortcomings of the traditional marketing model and the principles with which it should be replaced.
- Enable both themselves and colleagues to produce sales and marketing messages that really work.
- Alter their colleagues’ perspective of what they deliver to customers and how this creates new opportunities and revenue streams.
- Give their organisation a market position that becomes unassailable.
- Create the mechanisms for generating a steady sales pipeline into their business.
The session will provide a fresh approach to a vital topic, using real life examples. It will introduce new techniques and strategies that have proven to be highly effective. Members will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by new marketing, that they will be able to share with colleagues, in order to have an immediate impact on their organisations.

Grant’s Biography
In order to address the massive changes that have rendered the traditional Sales and Marketing model obsolete, Grant Leboff formalised his own Sales and Marketing philosophy; Sales Therapy®. It was these ideas and principles that helped Leboff build his own successful direct marketing company. After starting the business in 2002 Leboff sold it in 2008.
A serial entrepreneur; Leboff is Principal of The Intelligent Sales Club Ltd. The company was established to help businesses meet the new Sales and Marketing challenges, they face, in a world that is being revolutionised by the Web.
To this end Leboff also runs the Sales and Marketing portal www.intelligentsalesclub.com that produces resources and information on effective Sales and Marketing for business.
Leboff’s new book, Sticky Marketing, directly addressing these issues.
As well as sitting on the Advisory Council of The Global Marketing Network Leboff spends a significant amount of time giving talks on Sales and Marketing for a variety of business groups.
He is a regular contributor to many business magazines and newspapers, has been featured in the Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Financial Times, The Daily Mirror and The Sun, and has appeared on BBC Radio on numerous occasions. His first book, Sales Therapy®, made the top 10 Amazon bestseller list on publication and is one of the top selling books on Sales, in the UK.
