For three years, Anne was Director of the Strategic Command Course, the top development programme in the Police Service. Prior to that, as Deputy Chief Constable of West Midlands Police, she was instrumental in reshaping and refocusing the Force and changing its performance from the worst to one of the best in the country. Realising that her passion for improving the leadership skills of senior individuals could continue outside the Police, Anne joined Footdown in December 2006 to lead the Bristol Fifteen.
