PERSONAL INSIGHT

The Personal Insight domain was developed out of a desire to help leaders understand what drives them and how they interact with their teams.  Like the Leadership domain it has four categories.

This is not a coincidence since the four categories in Personal Insight have dependent categories in the Leadership domain. Personal Insight addresses the development needs of leaders such as those referenced in articles like this one from the Harvard Business News. Personal Insight has the following categories.

SELF - Relates to your perception of personal growth and esteem. Reveals how self-aware you are in terms of your personality and capability, and what impact you think you have on others.

PURPOSE - Relates to your personal values and sense of purpose. Reveals when you are in your best place. Explores your general attitude.

GOAL – Relates to the alignment of your goals with you purpose and values. Reveals whether your goals are meaningful and achievable. Relates to your role as leader.

MAKE IT HAPPEN – Relates to your ability to plan and execute. Reveals how you deal with obstacles and whether you review performance.
