Sam Elly joined Footdown in August 2010 as Footdown’s consultancy director.  He is responsible for two main areas

- Building relationships with our Insight clients and developing the business

- Managing and growing our new Footdown School of Coaching

Prior to joining Footdown he spent 8 years with Deloitte. He worked initially in the Financial Regulation Consultancy department but, having developed an interest in people development, moved into the development and delivery of internal training courses, coaching and mentoring with an 18 month secondment to the learning department.

Realising that people development was his passion, Sam embarked on primary teacher training in 2009. Though he completed his qualification, it had become apparent during the year that teaching was not for him and so, having previously worked on a consultancy basis with Footdown, Sam decided to take up the challenge of developing the consulting and Leadership Coaching side of Footdown’s growing business.
